Clan Admission and Ranking

Admissions

We are an open admissions clan.
Exceptions to this rule include, but are not limited to, the following:

• being included on the looter's list
• having a negative trustbot rating
• having inappropriate/offensive character or familiar names
• having inappropriate/offensive information in your profile

 

Ranking Goals

1. To have a graduated rank progression for new clan members which allows access to the stash at a level concomitant with their ranking;
2. To have a higher-status set of ranks, gained via meat contributions, which provides an incentive to donate and possibly help identify future leaders.

 

Basic Ranks

Level 1 Med School Freshman - 250 karma limit
Level 2 Intern - 500 karma limit
Level 3 Resident - 750 karma limit

Upon admission to clan, new members start at level 1 and are usually promoted within 1-3 days. If your rank has not changed in a week, a polite kmail to the Director of Admissions is appropriate.  Earlier nagging will not result in a faster promotion.  Active participation in clan chat or forums with proper grammar, punctuation and spelling may merit a faster promotion than otherwise.

Level 4 Comatose - 500 karma limit - Inactive members.

Level 5 Doctor - 1000 karma limit - Full member in the clan. Retains stash privileges regardless of contributions to the stash.

Level 6 Blood Donor - 1000 karma limit - An official clan meat farmer. The name of the player's main character is in the title field.

Advanced Ranks

Level 7 Attending Physician - Members who maintain a 50k karma balance, you will gain access to the clan basement at this level.

Level 10 Witch Doctor - 1250 karma limit - Members who maintain a 200k karma balance, have been in the clan for a minimum of one month, and have established an active presence in chat or the forums.

Level 15 OB/GYN - 1500 karma limit - Members who maintain a 500k karma balance, have been in the clan for a minimum of one month, and have established an active presence in chat or the forums. They must also have at least had one ascension or have reached level 30.

Level 20 Liposuctionist - 2,000 karma limit - Members who maintain a 750k karma balance, have been in the clan for a minimum of three months, and have established an active presence in chat or the forums. They must also have at least had two ascensions or have reached level 30.

Level 25  Physiotherapist - 2500 karma limit - Members who maintain a 1 million  karma balance, have been in the clan for a minimum of six months, and have established an active presence in chat or the forums. They must also have at least had three ascensions or have reached level 30.

Level 30 Anesthesiologist - 3,000 karma limit - Same requirements as the Physiotherapist, but maintain a five million karma balance.

Level 35 Head Nurse - 4,000 karma limit - Same requirements as the Anesthesiologist, but maintain a 25 million karma balance.

Level 40 Brain Surgeon - 5,000 karma limit - Same requirements as the Head Nurse, but maintain a 50 million karma balance.

**Note** ALL advanced ranks are at the discretion of the Clan Staff and above. They are intended to indicate sustained assistance to the clan. A one-time donation won't usually get more than one level of promotion.  If you feel you haven't received a deserved promotion, please send a kmail to one of the Clan Staff or Inj.

Miscellaneous

• If a member becomes inactive, they are moved to Comatose.  If the member returns to active status, they revert to the Level 5 - Doctor, regardless of their previous rank. Depending on the situation, you may have to renew your effort to be “repromoted”.
• Ideally, all meat donations should be done as dense meat stacks, but exceptions may be permitted on a case-by-case basis.
• If you desire to whitelist to another clan, please speak to the Director of  Admissions or a member of the Clan Staff.

 

Other Ranks

There are a variety of leadership rankings. These are merit-based and promotions will be made from anyone who has received the rank of Doctor and above. These ranks are obviously dependent on a member's willingness to do work for the clan. Karma and other privileges will be appropriate to the position. Contact the Clan Staff or higher if you are interested in one of these positions.
