Level 4

Council Quest

A new area opened up, once again in the Nearby Plains.

At the beginning, it will show you two places to adventure in, and one of them, the Guano Junction, will require you to resist the stench in it. The direct way would lead you to the Entryway, where occassionally a piece of equipment drops that helps you with exactly this task. But maybe you already have a useful item in your inventory for this? Have a look at your equipment section and click every item to find if one provides stench resistance. If you have one, equip it and you can enjoy the Guano Junction.

In the Junction, some strange bat mutations drop even stranger items. Baseballs? Sonars? If you have a look at your inventory, Miscellaneous page, Combat Items, you will see that these even have [use] links next to them. Try them out? Once you used some sonars, have a look at the Bat Hole again. Did something change?

Guild

At some point, you will be strong enough to be entrusted with another task from the unfriendly guild member, the one with a different class than your own. This time, you will be sent to the Nearby Plains (surprising, isn't it?) to fetch a book.

Dungeon

In Seaside Town, in the Dungeon full of Dungeons, you will be able to access the Daily Dungeon at some point. This one is slightly different from normal adventuring areas. You will have 10 rooms to explore per day, and the 10th will always contain a treasure. The rooms 1 - 9 will be randomly chosen from stat tests, elementel resistance tests and monster fights. Sometimes, you can also try to open a door or a chest. Each day, the Daily Dungeon gets reset, and will always provide the same challenges for all players. Notes:

  • For the doors, you may want a key made from a skeleton bone and a set of loose teeth (both drop in the Mispelled Cemetary), otherwise you may trigger a trap that hurts you.
  • If you fail an elemental resistance test, don't worry. You get hurt a bit, but you are still through the room, you won't get stuck there.
  • At level 4, you will most likely fail all stat tests. Have a look at the Noblesse Oblige Calendar to see if you will encounter any stat tests for today.
