Adding Numeric Scrolls

Scroll Assembly

Adventure in the Orc Chasm until you find a Rampaging Adding Machine and use these scrolls against it. Feed 2 scrolls, get 1 back (if you did it right). Unless you attack it or have an attacking familiar with you, the machine will only die after giving you a last scroll back. That means, you will always use an equal number against it, 2, 4, 6 or 8 scrolls per combat.

To solve the level 9 quest:

1. 334 scroll + 334 scroll = 668 scroll (Using this from inventory gives papayas, drunkenness or stat gains.)
2. 30669 scroll + 33398 scroll = 64067 scroll
3. 668 scroll + 64067 scroll = 64735 scroll (the quest item)

 

To summon the UB3r 31337 HaX0R who grants a stat script and a hermit script on first use per ascension (this also appears in your quest log in "Other Accomplishments"), otherwise worthless trinkets and ten-leaf clovers:

1. 334 scroll + 334 scroll = 668 scroll
2. 30669 scroll + 668 scroll = 31337 scroll (the quest item)
